IIIT-C is located in Salt Lake City ,Calcutta, ' The City of Joy '. It is about 10 kms ( approx. ) from HOWRAH Railway Station. You can reach the "Centre of Excellence" of Calcutta by Bus or Taxi. The institute is located in Sector V, Salt Lake City.
Bus : There are ample number of buses to our Campus.The only bus coming directly to our campus are 215A from HOWRAH. The bus fare will be Rs. 5.25 per head to Salt Lake City. It takes about 1.5 hrs by bus. IIIT-C is the last stop of that bus.
Taxi : You can reach here in a prepaid taxi for Rs.120 from HOWRAH Railway Station. You will find the prepaid taxi stand just in front of the railway station. There are two prepaid taxi stands one beside south block and other at central block. of HOWRAH railway station.
